Breakfast for Dinner
I am not the biggest fan of breakfast food for breakfast... Specifically syrup. Once I have had all day to prepare myself for the sweetness, I can survive syrup but first thing in the morning it is pretty much unbearable. When two of my friends that lead youth asked me to join them in hosting "Breakfast for Dinner" I could not refuse... A chance to eat pancakes when I actually might like them!!!
Laura, Kristie and I invited the Watermark junior high leaders over the Laura and Kristie's house to partake in breakfast for dinner. We had a decent turn out and I it was blast! We played several different games that kept it interesting. One of the games was called "family" and it resembled "Dan Tom" for those of you that went to Grace with me. The difference being that ONE person read all the names, which made it a lot harder if there was one name that no one could remember! The first round was pretty mild but the second round almost everyone had ridiculously hard names and it made it more interesting. Sadly I did not win either time, but I did remember the last name so my team could win the second game... A consolation prize, I guess...

Kristie, Laura and me. The hostesses.
Melissa, my co-leader, flipping pancakes.
Lewis and Casey.
Stacy and Britni. Britni brought an amazing Krispy Kreme bread pudding thing and Stacey brought pigs in a blanket... Yum!
Sadly we didn't get pictures of everyone, but we had a nice turn out. I am so blessed by leading at Watermark and I haven't even met my girls yet! Speaking of my girls, I got them last week and will meet them this Sunday! I can't wait!!!
Oh Abby, someone brought your kolaches but instead of making them individually, they were in a roll. It reminded me how much I LOVE them!!! I have to make them again soon. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.
