Week 2: Culinary Concoctions

I succeeded in making two meals again this week and it is only Tuesday!  I am a little shocked to be honest, but I will take it!  My brother came over for dinner last night and Sarah and I made The Pioneer Woman’s Caramelized Onion & Prosciutto Pizza.  I apologize for my crummy pictures.  I do not profess to be a food photographer and this is not meant to be a food blog, but I am adding pictures as proof.  Look what I made!!!  It was extremely good!  I highly recommend anything and everything from the Pioneer Woman’s blog.  Not that I have tried everything, but what I have tried has been delicious.

Tonight  I made squash soup with an acorn squash. I used a recipe from Eat, Live, Run and modified it to replace the curry with cumin and cayenne.  But before you go praising my cooking savvy, know that I stole the idea from my roommate.

Next week’s post will definitely include a spaghetti squash recipe.  Get excited!

Hey! I'm Heidi & I found your blog through your roommates blog.

That sounds uber stalker-ish.

But it's not, I swear because your roommate is doing the 30 for 30 & I saw her linked on Kendi's site. I checked her out & she linked to you & I thought I'd check you out & now here I am sounding stalkerish.

Oh dear.

All that to say!! I expected to find something about Kendi's 30 for 30 but instead found a picture of THE MOST AWESOME PIZZA EVER. No, EVAH!

My best friend & I just made TPW pizza the other day & as soon as I saw your picture, I knew immediately what it was!! :) Simple things really make me too happy sometimes. :)

Anyway, good luck with the 30 for 30. I'll check back & cheer you on! & yay for the best pizza evah!

No 30 for 30 for me. I am a huge fan of Kendi and her 30 for 30 challenge, but I have to wear suits to work several times a week and I was not up for remixing suits. I am leaving that to someone far braver than me. Thanks for the shout out Heidi. Have fun watching my roommate remix!
