Time with the fam...

This weekend my parents came in town to watch me compete in the triathlon (more to come on this tomorrow... I promise) and to see Jacob. He is two months old now and has gained 4 pounds and grew 3 inches in his short life. He still looks like a baby to me but he is healthy, cute, and loud... Haha... We all know he is related to me with that last one. ;)

I went over to Jacki and John's on Saturday afternoon and hung out with them, my parents and my aunt and uncle. Jessica was asleep when I got there but woke up about 15 minutes after I arrived. When I opened the door to pick her up from her nap, she recognized me. I was thrilled! She normally is responsive to me but this is the first time I could tell she knew who I was and was happy to see me. :)

We went to Buca de Bepo for dinner and I did some carb loading. All-in-all it was a fun day of family togetherness. I headed home early and was in bed by 10pm. SHOCKING... I know... But I was up at 4:45 on Sunday... Which was a small miracle in and of itself. ;)
