Touche XM

My car came with 3 months of XM radio for free. I was excited to have more musical variety for a while but had no intention of paying for XM once my free preview ended...

I lasted 3 months without it. I broke down and subscribed today for 3 reasons.

1. They finally offered me a price that I considered low enough to be justified.
2. I am going on a road trip this weekend and it would be convenient (though I will probably listen to my Ipod for most of the trip).
3. Most importantly, they started playing Christmas music today.

You win this round XM.

Ha ha- I feel you. I drive the Mitchells' minivan during the day and it has Sirius radio. I get so sad getting back in my car and a) not having the bazillion stations, and b) not having the screen that displays the music currently playing. I'm so spoiled. :)

Yay! Welcome to the XM world! I tell you, every so often I reconsider cancelling it, but seriously, it has the type of random music I like that isn't on normal radio. And my price per month is really low now (I think $10?). I mean, where else can I listen to Sinatra, Indie music, French music, and Broadway music?!?! I really RARELY listen to top hits... I haven't broken down and flipped to Christmas yet...mostly because I have this internal "rule" about waiting until after Thanksgiving...am guessing I may flip next week during my drive, though

Hey Jen! Ahh XM radio - ours just ended about 20 days ago...we miss it. We're trying to hold out...we'll see how that goes!
