It's Back!

So I have expensive taste.  Sad but true.  However, I am also rather practical and downright cheap about certain things.  One of those things being that I hate paying a lot of money for drinks (both alcoholic and non).  Thus, I partake in Starbucks about once every other month and margaritas in almost the same ratio.  However, during the summer the stars align and the gloriousness that is Starbucks Treat Receipts arrives.

See, all of the ladies at my office get Starbucks coffee on their way into work.  And during Treat Receipt days, someone leaves me a receipt on my chair every morning.  Then Starbucks starts calling my name.  "Come.  Partake in my $2.00 goodness.  You will save almost $3.00 AND you get a yummy treat.  It is a win-win."  And so, I go.  Almost every day.  To get Starbucks after 2pm during Treat Receipt Days.  Something about knowing I would be paying over twice as much for the same drink without my little receipt makes me love it all the more.  Is that strange?

Anyway, today in a little over thirty minutes, I will go downstairs and get my first Starbucks treat in a few months.  I can hardly wait.  Thank you Treat Receipts!  I am going to enjoy the next three months.

Now, if only I could get off work early enough to enjoy a happy hour every once in a while.  Then you would see a very similar post about margaritas...  On second thought, maybe it is good that I work late.
