Night Owl

This morning I woke up at 5:00am for probably the first time in my entire life. I am a night person. However, I am attempting to grow in discipline (and knowledge) by embarking on an 11-week class at my church that meets from 6:30-8am on Wednesdays.

As I drove into work at 8am this morning, I marveled at the fact that I managed to get up, get ready, and attend a 1.5 hour class all before I normally get out of bed. You morning people may be on to something. I am certainly not a convert, but there does seem to be a good amount of time in the morning that could be used for something besides shut-eye. I doubt I will make use of the time outside of taking this class, but I do concede the fact that the world does still exist at 6:00am. Who knew?
