Butterflies
I have my first hearing this afternoon and I am a little nervous. It is an attorney ad litem appointment in which I am representing unknown heirs... and there aren't any... So I don't really have a client and thus there is no one that I could possibly disappoint... but I am still nervous.
My nerves stem from never having done this before and not wanting to make a fool of myself in front of the judge... Technically two judges because my opposing counsel used to be a judge as well.
If you read this before 2:45pm, say a quick prayer for me. I know what I am doing, I know what I need to say... I just have never done it before. I guess I have to start somewhere, right?! Got to love trial by fire... Haha... No pun intended!
