Happy New Year!
I am excited to ring in 2008 because some pretty important things will happen in 2008. For example, I turn 25, GRADUATE LAW SCHOOL, take the bar and pass the bar (power of positive thought and much prayer). Big stuff and I am hoping it will be a wonderful year! :)
As far as actually ringing in 2008 was concerned, I went to dinner with some of my very best friends and then to the Summit New Years Party. The New Years party was good. The dance floor was bigger than last year and there was a game room. There was a little more jazz music than I would have liked but it was a fun night and a great way to celebrate the new year. I always love a chance to dress up.
I would like to give Paula a special shout out for having impeccable taste. She wore the cutest black and grey dress and matched it perfectly with red shoes...
Yes... I did too... We didn't plan to wear the same dress for any of you that may be wondering. Poor Paula had the same dress as someone else last year too. She really does have great fashion sense though and if I had to match someone I would have chosen her. :)

Way to ring in the New Year in style! I think any style sense I might have had has atrophied since I moved - I wear sandals everywhere now.
I know it's going to be a great year for you - especially since you're coming to visit me! :) I hope what's left of school goes smoothly - along with everything else.

I am glad that you had such a wonderful New Year's Eve. Just think, you could have been here in Dallas with Aunt Joy, Aunt Gayle, Dad and me. I have a funny feeling that you enjoyed being in Houston more than you would have here. I love you!!!
I can't believe you're finishing up law school...it feels like you just started! Way to go!!!
