Christmas 2

For my second Christmas I had a cold. No bueno. I got sick around a week ago and IT IS NOT GOING AWAY. We left early on Saturday morning for East Texas and I felt like a five year old again. I tried to sleep in the car. It didn't really work, but I got to rest a little on the way to my grandmothers.

We got to Gilmer around 10:30 and I ran to Wal Mart with my dad. We then went to Taco Bell and got lunch. About 5 minutes into eating the guy behind the counter announced that they were out of beef for about an hour. How crazy is that? Out of beef... at Taco Bell...

We then had Christmas dinner with my mom's side of the family. It is always great to see them. I have one uncle who has five children and three of them have children. The little kids grow so quickly. I had not seen them since last Christmas and it is amazing what a year will do to a 3 year old!

Anyway, Christmas was fun and my family is well. Though it was weird having Christmas without my brother. He is doing well in Japan. I told him to bring me back something pretty and Japanese... We will see what he gets... I am excited for him that he gets such a fun experience. :)
